The paper should incorporate
- your personal observations. Remember that your observations are not opinions. They relate what you see and hear, and especially how you respond to the music as art. I want to know that you have actually experienced the music and that you have engaged it in some way.
- your understanding of the writing of Pope Pius X about this music:

- what characteristics of this music music make it most suitable to the Tridentine Mass.
The paper will be evaluated on both content and with respect to grammar, punctuation, clarity, coherence, and organization. Feedback on all these areas will be given within one week of the paper’s submittal. The rubric for grading this paper follows:
